Katy will be leading us in a "Mini" Ripple and Reflect Session. The majority of Americans are worried about climate change - BUT we rarely talk about it. One study (by the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication) found that 64% of Americans “rarely or never” talk about global warming. The same poll found that almost the same number (63% of Americans) are also “greatly or moderately worried” about global warming. I don't need to tell this group of wellness professionals that worrying about something and not talking about it…well, that is a surefire recipe for anxiety. Ripple and Reflect is a 3-part workshop that combines education, intention-setting and community to give participants accessible and meaningful ways to help with climate justice - while also reaping the collateral benefit of gaining more peace and clarity in their own life. In the February TLC Member spotlight, we'll be doing a "mini" Ripple and Reflect to give TLC members a taste of the program.
